Students in grades 1-5 at Gilmor Elementary School each designed 6 inches x 6 inches square tiles based on two prompts: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and "What I love most about my school is..." Fifth grade students Darius, Makayla, Nico, Marcus, Brionna, Kyanna, and Audariye, after a few weeks of participatory workshops on leadership, then elected which three amongst themselves would be featured in the portraits as exemplifying positive leadership at Gilmor Elementary.

The mural was created during Emily's residency at Jubilee Arts.
